    This is a book about a little boy called Harold who draws with just one crayon which is purple. I like purple. I liked all of this book. I liked it when he drew a policeman to ask him the way, but he didn’t know.

    I loved all of it except when he fell down from the mountain but he was clever to draw a balloon to save himself. If I had a purple crayon I would draw a whole land which would take a lot of paper.

    I loved feeling like I was watching Harold draw everything in front of me, particularly the dragon under the apple tree and how clever it is when he draws the window so that he is inside his room not trying to look into it. This book is so clever!

    I love Harold and the Purple crayon, I love it because he draws lots of things, especially the buildings. I also love the bit when he falls and draws the balloon. But he forgot to draw a toilet! Luca.

    We really like this book. We like how Harold uses the crayon to create the world around him.
    It’s also a very mathematical book. Why? Well shapes are used throughout, straight lines and curves especially.

    I liked this a lot because it was so funny. I laughed when he made a forest with only one tree in. That was funny because one tree is not a forest!

    I think it’s a good story because you can your own imagination and I like this book because it’s not really scary and it’s amazing to think about all of the things Harold built. I love this story because Harold is very adventurous and he definitely knows which is his window.

    I liked it when he drew an apple tree. I liked it when he made some pie but he couldn’t eat all of it so he left a hungry moose and porcupine to have it.

    I liked this book because it reminds me of my journeys I go on when I do drawing and make things. I was happy when Harold found his bed and went to sleep, I went to sleep at the same time.

    It was funny that Harold could draw a world with his crayon. I liked it when Harold drew the moon and when he drew the ocean and accidently fell in it.

    This is a lovely book.
    It is about a small boy who creates his own adventure,then,he ends up in his nice warm bed.

    Draw your own adventure – by an American cartoonist. I especially like how Harold is several times surprised by what’s just happened in his own adventure and a bit unsure about what might happen next.

    I found this book very funny. It is all about a little lad who draws himself an adventure but in the end her ends up back home. 🙂

    I loved this book. I found it funny and cute. It is all about this little boy named Harold who is trying to find an adventure but in the end he finds home sweet home. It is a very good book that I recommend for all ages (even adults).

    I’ve never read this book but by the sound of it ‘Harold and the purple crayon’ dosnt sound like the best book in the world, does it now ?
