Paper Dolls is an amazing book explaining how a few paper dolls can have a live not just in the real world but in one’s imagination. Towards the end of the book the main character becomes an adult and with her own child makes paper dolls again. I like the book because the repeating song that the five paper dolls sing is very memorable.

  14. Henry Roberts says:

It was good that even though there were so many scary things the paper dolls kept getting away. I didn’t like it when the paper dolls got snipped up. It was sad. But after the boy snipped them they joined back together and went to a memory place. I have a big silver balloon that I lost in my memory place and this story made me think of my grandpa.

I love the story, beautiful illustrations. It brings childhood memories, turning around a sad story into a happy memory.
It gives parents a tool to use on those difficult moments when children loose a precious toy.

Also I love the idea of a story of a toy that is not plastic!
