    This book is absolutely magical, it was one of the first books I read and I love it ! I love the wild things and there different personalities.

    I recommend this book to younger readers. As a bedtime story.

    I liked it when the wild things had a rumple party and Buster liked it when the wild things showed their claws like a puppy!

    The pictures are really cool and I like how much the monsters like him. Also his mummy is really kind for leaving him some supper after all.

    Noah – baddies showed the little boy his terrible claws.
    Anaya – when the boy was on the boat he sailed off to the baddies
    Nell – it was good when they showed their terrible claws because the boy didn’t want to stay there.
    Ella – the boy was a bit too bossy. He was bossing the baddies around and I didn’t like that.
    Leo – I liked it when the baddies came because I like T-Rex.
    Eva – the baddy was mean to them.

    We loved the book.
    Tom loved it when the forest grew in the bedroom.
    Solly’s favourite bit was when the monsters said they loved him, but wanted to eat him up.
    Daisy’s favourite bit was when the monsters said they would eat him up

    I read this book about 3 years ago (I was in year one)and it’s about a little boy called Max who goes inside his dream and before long he is king of these fantastic monsters who are “the wild things “

    This book is about this boy who’s room turns into a giant jungle with really wild wild things.The wild things make him King of the land but they don’t want him to leave.One night the boy gets out of the jungle and down his stairs to eat his dinner which is still hot.
    There are really good characters and this is a pretty good book. If you haven’t read this book I recommend this book for you!

    Where the wild things are is about Max who is send to bed without any dinner. In his bedroom a forest begins to grow and Max takes a boat trip to an island sailing for a year and a day. The island is where monsters live. This book is great because it makes everyone dream of a forest and being crowned king. The illustrations in the book say more than the words.

    Max sails to a monster island and meets loads of different monsters. I absolutely loved the illustrations of the monsters in this book.

    Sendak’s book is magical – he uses just enough words to transport you with Max through the story, but leaves out enough to let the reader fill in the gaps. I love the ideas of a ‘wild rumpus’!
